The Mission of Spring Arbor University

Since 1963, when the university began its four-year curricula, the Spring Arbor Concept has expressed the educational philosophy and purposes of the institution. That Concept, with slight amendments, has been incorporated as the foundational statement in the new university mission statement, adopted in February 1996. The mission statement affirms the universities respect for tradition, its heritage of innovation, and its pledge to pursue excellence.
